Any thoughts out there about why this might be? Are our legislators just a bit smarter than non-Minneapolis legislators? Does Minneapolis get particularly negatively affected by the proposed budget?

Just a caution here folks – discussions of state legislature efforts are cool here as long as you restrict yourselves to the effects of policy on Minneapolis – not statewide impacts. It’s also cool to focus on Minneapolis legislators’ votes during the current session, but even then, comments should be restricted to Minneapolis-specific or Minneapolis-focused impacts.

I, for one, am not looking forward to seeing the Sate of Minnesota lose its credit rating. I take enormous pride in the State I was born and raised in and I do not want it credit rating dropped to the point
