Eva,
I think Pohlad at least has made it clear that he
has no interest in building a stadium.  He is
interested in having public money build one for
him.  I'd be surprised if there is much more
interest in the business community. We really
blew it when our mayor and council pitched in for
Target Center.  You know, once you put out, the
guys never will believe future protests.  They
figure if they whine ENOUGH, we'll do it again. 
And Barbara and other baseball enthusiasts only
help fan those hopes.  I'm glad we got rid of the
parties who did Target on the Mall and the Target
Center, but we'll pay for their mistakes for a
long, long time.
