Well that's not my impression of Stenglein.  I didn't support him when he
ran for Mayor last time, but I appreciated that he was the only candidate
to criticize the NRP boondoggle.

I've made both of these points regarding Urban Ventures.  I also think it's
a very fair point to ask Democrats who criticize Bush's faith based
initiatives -- partly because they say they are concerned about this bill
overturning state and local equal rights ordinances to explain why they are
supporting an organization like Urban Ventures.

Yeah, the 2000 election was a tie.  It's over, it's over, the tie was
decided by the Supreme Court, and it's beyond the scope of this list.

It was an observation, so you are a constituent, and a fan of Mr.
McLaughlin.  It's nice to know at least one of Peter McLaughlin's
constituents thinks he's doing a bang up job.  

Also, I'd like to say that my issues with Urban Ventures are issues with
the leadership (Art Erickson and Ralph Bruins), not the staff of UV and not
the parents whose kids use that program.
