Perhaps protesters could do what the Holidazzle parade folks have done, and stop now and then for a traffic signal. Let some traffic through. It wouldn't have to be every time the light changes. Maybe the organizers could work out some sort of system and get the word out to the participants. When traffic is backing up from every direction, we surely aren't improving air quality locally. And that guy waiting for the #2 bus that never showed? He got frostbite and was late for work at the coffee shop. That's why some tired, cold protesters had to wait so long for their cafe' latte' schmatte'.
