Another reason to support the anti-war resolution is to confirm our disapproval of gang activity. After all, aren't local gangsters in North and South Minneapolis, ardent capitalists that they are, mimicking the behaviors of Bush and Cheney? Local gangsters kill rival gang leaders and members in order to maintain and expand their territory related to drug trade, and whenever innocent children get killed in their gunfire we're outraged, as we should be. Meanwhile, our federal government terrorizes other nations, starving innocent civilians when they're not bombing them, so we can expand our oil trade. To bring it all back home, it's very difficult to convince inner-city youth that gang activity is immoral when we allow, or in some cases encourage, our President, Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense to persist in gang activity.
