SAM: I've heard it both ways, it is and it isn't. I look at it this way. Say you're being tailgated by a white driver, then further up the road you're being tailgated by a black driver. If you refer to the first driver as an "idiot" and the second driver as a "black idiot," that's an example of inconsistent and inappropriate use of race.
