Maybe we should do like we used to down on the farm:
-Men go outside
-Women go inside
-Uni-sex corn cobs or catalog pages for all
(I'll bet Jim Graham remembers those days as well)

Wow, I never thought that moving seven words ("for an illegal, immoral or
unlawful purpose") from the end of the bathroom ordinance to the middle of the
ordinance could possibly cause such a stir. Interestingly, the solution may be
to abolish the ordinance putting Minneapolis in the same position as (gasp)
the rest of the State of Minnesota. Now, I must admit that I haven't traveled
to International Falls or Moorhead recently, so I cannot speak as to whether
bathroom anarchy reigns in such exotic locations. I have, however, recently
visited St. Paul, Fergus Falls, and my hometown of Dassel where it appears to me
that, despite the lack of a similar ordinance and simply guided by State law,
men mysteriously use the men's restroom and women use the women's restroom.
Perhaps our intrepid reporters and the Minnesota Family Council who have
created this "unisex bathroom" hysteria could go on a fact finding mission to see
whether bathroom anarchy is a problem throughout the rest of the State and
report back to us before we take this dire step.
