Thank you Scott for taking on this issue.  This cleans
up alot of messes that the ordinance was creating for
transgender, transexual, intersex and other gender
minority individuals in our community.  

Based on testimony from the disabled community at the
hearing the other day, many disabled individuals who
utilize personal care assistants will now be able to
go out without fear of not being able to relieve
themselves should the need arise. 

I was stunned by the testimony of some of the very
real problems this created for individuals at dining
and entertainment establishments in Minneapolis.  

I also hope it will change the strange situation of
that lead to the city facing a costly discrimination
suit ending with a result that in my opinion(I'm not a
lawyer) was clearly unjust as well as lead to the loss
of a quality officer.
