Representatives selected to serve on the School Board are under no obligation to explicate Mr. Jennings' skill set in a public forum. That's how representative government works: we elect people who we hope will use their best judgment. If we don't like their decisions we can lobby against them or vote for someone else in the next election (of course, if you live in California you can also recall them and elect an action figure).
