I can certainly understand Jim's motivation, but I'd like to correct the record: Brian Sullivan didn't create Simon Delivers; a Minneapolis resident named Simon Foster did. Brian Sullivan is a minority investor - and to be fair to Jim, was co-chairman of the Simondelivers.com board. Here's a reference from the Strib, June 12, 2002: Simon Foster, who founded the company in 1997, said Sullivan, whom he has known since the early 1990s, was an early backer of the concept. He increased his investment after selling Recovery, but remains a minority shareholder. Sullivan has recruited other investors, venture capital firms and other individuals, such as Wanner and Hembree, and has provided invaluable counsel. "Brian sees issues, challenges and problems sooner than most people," Foster said. "He's a very experienced and savvy businessman." Sullivan recently relinquished the largely figurehead title of cochairman, in part to focus on the governor's race and in part because some customers were canceling the service because of Sullivan's stand against abortion. "I do struggle with the notion that people believe he's the cofounder," Foster said. David Brauer Kingfield REMINDERS: 1. Think a member has violated the rules?
