I am aware that many list members are "boycotting" the
list due to the widely held perception that former
list member Jim Graham was suspended as a political
favor. Many people have reduced or eliminated their
posts to this list for a period of time as a
protest/boycott. I've also heard talk of establishing
an alternative Minneapolis Forum; has this happened?

The Minneapolis Issues List has been and is an
important source of information and public discussion
for a tremendous number of people, so I hope the
"boycott" will end soon and people will return to
posting. I also hope everyone has given the list
manager a chance to respond directly to their concerns
rather than simply disappearing, and that the list
manager will take everyone's concerns seriously.

I think it's best if we don't make this post into a
thread; better to handle it off-line with those
involved - but I really hope folks work out the issue
and resume posting.
