First I've heard of any boycott of this list. Personally, I made a New Year's resolution last year to spend much less time on here in '03... and I was very successful in my effort. Maybe others have done likewise?
In '03, I discussed Park Board Budgets-- both capital and operating, pretty extensively; also, the weaknesses associated with the land trust model for owner-occupied affordable housing, city pension shortfalls, budget problems at the Minneapolis Public Library, and I voiced support for McManus as Police Chief. I may be forgetting a couple. And, now it's a new year again! Seems to me that prime topics in the new year will include affordable housing issues, mass transit, some zoning issues, and city-parks-library budgets post legislative session. And, there are always those *wild card* topics/issues no one can predict.
