This is false. Steve Cramer's first post to the list was after Jim Graham
was suspended. He never complained to me about Jim's postings or asked for
disciplinary measures.

I'm  the one who knows who complains - anyone else is speculating. And since
no one making (or repeating) this "fact" has asked me, it's easy to see how
they got it wrong.

As for a boycott, that's everyone's right and if you vehemently disagree
with the list concept, probably a good thing for all. And anyone could start
another list, with different rules and/or management - which I would
sincerely welcome.

Over the years, I've read periodic talk about a "Speaker's Corner" with no
odious list manager involved. My suggestion: go for it. However, no one has
gotten one off the ground (talk is the essence of what we do, but it is also
cheap). That gives me some confidence that they way we've structured and
managed our 900-address forum (with countless web viewers) makes sense.
