Other than ongoing notes from Eva Young, the E-Democracy Board
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> has not received a complaint or for that matter a
compliment about the Minneapolis Issues Forum during the last half-year or
so (having just scanned my inbox). We have not receive an appeal from
anyone suspended (or given a warning) from any of our forums going back to
last spring.

If you want to comment on any E-Democracy forum or online activity you can
reach all the active volunteers and the Board via our web form:

We did receive a note about the lack of our advancing technology in the
face of weblogs and the like. Who would like to help us apply our
non-partisan, non-profit, create a space for people from across the
political spectrum to communicate mission with weblogs? This could be as
simple as maintaining a local/political weblog directory to building a
weblog-based project at the state or local level. The key factor is that
it must be a space that raises the voice of many participants and not just
a soapbox for one or a just a few individuals.

We are interested in hearing what people think and what they will volunteer
to do to help us advance technologically. We do have a new Technology
Committee with over 20 e-democracy interested techies that we've recruited
around the world, but we need someone with time to implement a number of
the short term needs that we have identified
<http://www.e-democracy.org/center/technology.html>. We also need help
building better web archives <http://www.e-democracy.org/center/eweb.html>.

Sincerely,
Steven Clift
E-Democracy Chair

P.S. In the meantime, E-Democracy has built one of the nation's most
comprehensive Election 2004 link directories:

If you'd like to join our Minnesota specific effort for 2004 and help
improve http://www.myballot.net let us know as well.
