After reading Jim's provocative insightful article: Minnesota Taxpayers League Declares Class War I looked at Strom's incredibly odd comments, like THIS one: "It's clear that transit doesn't add much to the capacity of the transportation system, and I suspect that most transit dependent folks would rather have personal control over their transportation destiny. As for those folks who don't want to use cars--why should everyone else pay for their choice? I am willing to subsidize the truly needy to help get them on their feet, but as for the middle-class person who can afford a car but mooches off the rest of us, let them pay for the priviledge of using buses or trains." WHAT does this guy do for a living (other than taking out the pair of Brooks Brothers shoes he's got shoved in his mouth just long enough to utter comments that are so out of touch with reality?
