The Minneapolis City Republican Committee held its Biannual Meeting yesterday. I'm excited to announce the election of a new City Chair and Executive Committee that will take over on June 1st. Constance Nompelis, the current Deputy Chair and a legislative assistant for the House Majority Caucus was unanimously elected Chair. Connie has done an amazing job as Deputy Chair, and I believe she will bring a higher level of activism and excitement to the committee.
The City Committee also unanimously elected the previous 13th Ward Chair Gregg Sougstad as Deputy Chair, re-elected Ernest Lehmann as Treasurer, and re-elected Minneapolis Charter Commission member Marge Dolan as Secretary.
