A little more info on the increased traffic on Minnehaha Parkway over Hiawatha.
The highway 5 bridge over the river is down to one lane in each direction for July and August, causing major delays. Many people are taking the (unofficial) Ford bridge detour. They then take Minnehaha to avoid the screwed up 46th Street intersection at Hiawatha.
