BL says: This dream task force exists and has existed for years. It is called the Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee of the City of Minneapolis and Hennepin County. The membership of this committee consists of the Mayor, two councilmembers, two county commissioners, the police chief, the sheriff, the judges, the probation/parole officers, county attorneys and the city attorney.
VF: Well, this is just sad. What's going on is this a cloak and dagger meeting? supper top secret? Maybe if they would allow other folks that were named to be on this group maybe then it would be a working group. Wow! I would love to see minutes from those meeting's, an attendance sheet or even a list of priorities they've been working on. Understand, I'm not trying to say they are not working, however, I pay taxes, which in turn is part of their salary, and I would be really interested in finding out what's been going on. As a citizen, I see no measurable results, unless they're just only supper top secret. Our only security is our ability to change. - John Lilly Peace-Peace, Vanessa Freeman Hawthorne REMINDERS: 1.
