In 6-6 in Minneapolis it was taking 20 to 30 minutes to vote. Heavy turnout.

Not surprising given the number of people canvassing for voters in the neighborhood. The third ring of my doorbell this morning I started to yell at the person that I was going to vote if they would let me get dressed and it turned out to be a Jehovah Witness lady telling me the world was about to change. Surprise! Surprise!

I must have had twenty-five different visits by DFL people in the last two weeks. (One by a Republican)Especially heavy door bell ringing this last week end. I can not count the number of phone calls. With promises to drive me to the poll, and people I did not know promising to personally vouch that they knew me and that they knew I lived here. I have never seen such efforts in all my thirty-seven years of voting. Heck, I have never seen such efforts cumulatively in all that time!

If that is any indication, and with that effort on the part of DFL boosters, there should be a VERY, VERY heavy turn out of the inner-city.
