False! The fact that secondhand smoke maybe harmful
is irrelevant! We all choose to do things that are
harmful from the perspective of others. The things
we choose maybe harmful to our health, our spirits,
or our morality, but they should remain our own
choices and not be dictated by the values of other
people as long as no one else is affected by them
involuntarily.

"as no one else is affected by them involuntarily." That should include employees and other patrons of the establishment. And even if you argue that adults choose a restaurant where smoking occurs, exposing their children is not the choice of the child and many of these restaurants are considered "family" restaurants.

I must say how disappointing it was to see McDonald's falter and collapse after instituting no smoking in all their restaurants......
