I've even blogged how to generate the csv from SQL using Normalized data. Once the csv has been created you just plug in your license counts and import it back in.

The folks at CoreTech have a nice free utility for extending the ConfigMgr console with a tool to add/edit 3rd party license info for AI: http://blog.coretech.dk/kea/asset-intelligence-3rd-party-software-utility/ Also, be sure to have the latest cumulative update for ConfigMgr installed, as they often are making tweaks to support the MVLS license import stuff and the reports.
