Guys,

I've been reading this thread and there are some things bothering me
regarding all this:

The FDISK delivered with it only creates 32 MB partitions (thus leaving up
to 31 MB of disk-space unpartitioned using a hard-disk smaller than 992 MB).
There is no way to fill the unused space with this version of FDISK. When
Jon De Schrijder didn't release the first version of the new BIOS yet, I
managed to make an almost fully functional FDISK which CAN create variable
partitions including a better way to initialize the partitions (logical
formatter including random volume-ID creation), so both programs are for the
Gilvad BIOS. I didn't have time to get last bug out (then Jon did come up
with a new BIOS) and then the adaption to Jon's BIOS was added to the list
as well, but still no time.

I also made some tools for the interface. I strongly improved the PAR
program (to assign partitions to drives) and there never came such a program
for IDE with the name MAP.COM because to prevent mistakes with the other to
enable DOS1 programs on DOS2. These tools are for the Gilvad BIOS only as
well and can be found in the IDE-download page at www.msx.ch. I didn't find
the time yet to adapt these properly for the Jon De Schrijder BIOS as well.
