On the games I have (PA3 and Lost World) there is not even a word about home page in the manual. On the end of PA3 manual has an e-mail, but I think it's kind of "hidden", being in the last page... In the TLW booklet there is not even an e-mail! Not, it would be VERY nice if you place in the game, or even in the manual, a table with "Graphics: Fulano de Tal ([EMAIL PROTECTED])" BTW, there is an UMAX homepage? >>The point is: keep this conversation a bit more creative and forget about >>all irrelevant discussions.. >I don't think anything of this discussion was irrelevant or something. So: >let's just not forget all the side stories :-P If you distribute the game for free and put a reminder on the opening screen like "If you like this game, please, e-mail us at: [EMAIL PROTECTED] and say us, so we may continue developing" BTW, I liked a lot the games. I bought The Lost World, Pumpkin Adventure III, Sonyc, Pentaro Odissey, Nuts, Akin, Oracle, and I have a Moonsound, MegaSCSI... And I had not time even to play any of these games. To be honest, I played PA3 until the Shopping, where I talked with the guy in the shopping and then I stopped due to lack of time. I'm interested in RoA, and I'll buy it. I'm sure I'll have not time to play, but I'll buy. Do I have money to give away? No. In fact, I have little money. But I think you do a good job and I want you keep developing for MSX. But once I had paid, I don't feel I have any obligation to send an e-mail to you saying "Oh! It's good! Keep the good job!". On the other hand, I'm always talking with Ricardo asking enhancements, making coments, etc. And this is not because he's my personal friend, nor because we study in the same university. I do it because he give away the program and asks for feedback, so he can continue developing. Also, almost everything he does he makes public domain, and before suggesting something I just look if it's possible. If I have time, I try to implement before bothering him. This is one great difference between open/free software and paid software. It's not the only, thought. BTW, I ansiouly waited for MoonSound update for TLW, but as I heard, it'll never see the sunlight... )-: ----- AbraOS/2, Daniel Caetano ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) /| | | |\ \| ___ |/ OS/2 Sites: http://www.quasarbbs.com/daniel/ \/ ----- \/ http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/8752/os2hp/os2index.html | | MSX Sites: http://www.fudeba.cjb.net/ -- -- Drawings: http://www.djgallery.tsx.org/ ...Programar e' a arte de organizar zeros e uns de forma que eles produzam trabalho util! **** MSX Mailinglist.
