Some. Laydock, M-Kid (beuh...), F1-Spirit 3D, Sardine (VERY nice shooter),
Twinkle Star (also great shooter, will finally work! it had a bug which made
it crash in the second stage if a fm-pac was present, which is in virtually
all MSX2+ machines), and some more I can't recall right now. They won't all
'just work', some need modification, because they do not check the VDP ID,
but the MSX ID instead. F1-Spirit does not (it doesn't do any check at all),
but some others do. But this modification is minor and can easily be done.
Send me a diskimage of an MSX 2+ game which doesn't work on MSX2 with v9958
and I'll create a patch (well, as soon as I have my v9958 ofcourse).

Also, in any products I create, I will use different engines for the v9938
and the v9958. In practice, this means v9958 owners will get smooth
scrolling, nicer pictures, cooler effects, etc. And I'm working on an RPG
engine atm, so you'd better order one... :) Oh, and by the way, Mark and I
are working on a game (some kind of platformer), which I hope will be
finished within a year. No promises though.

You can always ask a hardware guy to do it. I doubt it will cost much. I am
definately not going to do it myself... After screwing up a VG8245 trying to
unsolder its Z80 I have had my share of bad (un)soldering experiences.

Alas, the deadline is over now. 22 pieces are ordered, according to Eric.
Nice!
Perhaps a second order can be considered with sufficient animo, or else
you'll have to order directly from Gilberto.
