Hi Jean
Actually I always read that if we respond to our child with the other
language (the one we don't use with them) only opens the door for the
child to continue responding on that other language. This is exactly
what the pediatrician has strongly advised me against. He said that
people who understand their parents' language, but can't respond in it
were alloowed to use that other language.
Still thanksa lot for trying to help me when I was really stressed. :)
