Hi, I have installed fedora core 6 on my laptop and using the kernel '2.6.19.1'.
I have the SCR-241 smart card reader(PCMCIA). I found the linux driver for this reader from the SCM website(SCR24x) and installed it. The driver recognizes the reader and creats the node thru' 'udev'. I need to use the 'activcard' on this smart card reader. When I place the activcard on this reader, the SCR24x driver detects this card (I built the driver with debug on). Now, I don't know how to access this activcard. Fedora core 6 comes with the application called 'Smart Card manager'. But, it doesn't recognize this activcard. It basically says no smart cards are present. So, I am looking for some help on what are the next steps here. - Has someone successfully used 'activcard' on linux, possibly using the SCM PCMCIA card.? - I see that there is a 'activcard gold' application available for Linux. Do I need to buy this software? Does someone have any experience here? - How can I debug this further? Is there some documents available on using 'smartcard' on linux? Thanks, --Vasu _______________________________________________ Muscle mailing list [email protected] http://lists.drizzle.com/mailman/listinfo/muscle
