Is that so?  I think that's wrong, for precisely the reasons that you
and I both pointed out.  The mail system will slap a Received header
on it (unless that, too is broken), and the most recent one is what
Mutt should use, if it's going to do this.  They should be the same
anyway, unless the From_ line's date is garbage, which is known to be
a possibility.
