If you have the following

* a task which has not been marked as done but whose parent has been
marked as done
* a To Do view which has the Action filter set to All - so the child
task still appears in this view
* an Outline view which is not showing Completed tasks

and you then double click on the child task in the To Do view, you are
taken to the Outline view but are not shown the child task (or anything)

I was very puzzled by this and it took me some time to work out what was
going on.

Normally when in MLO, it you try and go to a task which is not visible in
the Outline view (because it has been completed), MLO puts up a dialog box
asking you whether you want to change the filter on the Outline view to show
completed tasks but it didn't do this on this occasion (because I guess it
was the parent that was marked as done)

Question: if you mark a parent done, should MLO mark all the children done
as well? The above was a mistake on my part - I had marked the parent
done without marking the child done. I can't think of a reason why you
would want to have a not done child and a done parent. Perhaps there could
be an option somewhere 'Mark children done when parent is marked as done'?
