Yes, I can give you an example but I’m not sure what you mean by how you think it should look. I simply want rotations that currently work to continue to work. This means that you shouldn’t by default mark a subtask complete because you mark the task complete.
For the example, Setup a weekly task to clean the kitchen. Now setup another weekly rotation task to Deep clean an item in the kitchen. So each week you clean the kitchen overall and then each week you “focus” on one item in the kitchen. So the recurring task is “Deep Clean” Subtasks are: frig, stove, oven, dishwasher If you setup the recurring task with the following attributes: “Complete subtasks in order” Advanced recurrence of "reset all subtasks to uncomplete when all are done" Advanced recurrence of "automatically recur task when any subtask is complete" So for the first week: Active item Frig Available items Frig, stove, oven, dishwasher When you mark the Frig as done the deep clean task will automatically recur for the following week: Active item Stove Available items Stove, oven, dishwater Now you can either complete the stove task this week (and work one more task down your list) or you can mark the “Deep clean” task done. If you complete the Deep clean task then next weeks recurrence looks exactly like this weeks. Stove is still your action item. I just don’t want to lose that feature. Rotations are a nice feature of MLO.
