If windows 8 fails, and some people will turn to Mac/Linux, what to do? > Wine. > If I bought chrome book, how to use MLO? > You'd be out a lot more software than just MLO if you used a chromebook. > In short I don't think the developement for all the OS will be fast enough > without any web app... > You could use Toodledo if you're that concerned about the cloud; web apps are more difficult to get advanced features set on because they have to target conflicting or not fully implemented standards. As much as I hate people telling me to use Wine, it actually does work very well for some programs. MLO doesn't do anything "weird" that would cause problems with it, so there's no reason you can't use it. A lot of software only glitches up in Wine because they use intrusive DRM that relies on hacks Wine doesn't yet allow, or they rely on eccentric replacements of Windows behaviors. MLO does neither, that I'm aware of. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
