Theoretically, yes, the routers could block certain ports. The fact that
they allow ping (ICPM) does not mean that they allow other network
transport protocols or application protocols like HTTP.
The other possibility is that MLO simply does not work when the devices
are connected to different routers. The term "Wi-Fi sync" somewhat
implies that the two devices must be in the same WLAN (Wi-Fi network).
For instance, Apple iOS (iTunes) WiFi sync also works only if the
devices are connected to the same router. (Would you call iOS a scam?)
It may be the case that such a restriction also exists in MLO. But it
could be also a different reason. Keep in mind, we are only end users
here, you can get an authoritative answer only from MLO support.
If you explain your problem in a friendly manner to MLO support, they
will surely find a solution for you, or give you a refund. Have you
tried that?
I was robbed. That's it. I regret the first time I heard from this
scam.
Again, such wording is offensive and highly unfair towards the MLO
developers, no matter what the cause for your actual issue is.
