Follow-up Comment #5, bug #18460 (project mypaint):
I built v0.9.0-265-g2157d3f on Windows 7 using
http://opensourcepack.blogspot.com/2009/08/building-mypaint-in-windows.html
and I got the "instant exit" symptom which turned out to be missing icons
(diagnosed with --logfile).
In my case I had a share/icons/hicolor/index.theme but none of the other
directories (eg 16x16). I copied those by hand and it launched ok. (tablet
position is hosed, but there were icons)
It looks like the index.theme file is from an XCOPY in the build.bat script
so the "install" in the SConstruct didn't happen at all. I don't know
anything about scons so I'm not sure how to diagnose that.
