I've been seeing weirdness there too. I suspect it's the focus rejection part
of
https://gitorious.org/mypaint/mypaint/commit/afb8fe02d9593b1e706a32222012f840ab7f9330
at the heart off it (and probably 89ce0631 too.) Grr.
Can you compare for first one of these with its parent please? If it seems to
go away, can you see what the effect of removing the .set_accept_focus(False)
line is (from wherever it's moved to)? Thanks.
