I've been tweaking my system, and am very happy with the results so far. Next on the list is the recordings.
Currently I see that each hour of recording takes up about 2.3G of space. I think I have things set to record at 720x480. I have a PVR-350 card using the TVOut. What processing should I perform to save space. What is everyone else doing for normal TV stuff? I was hoping to get them down to about 500Megs, but I don't want to loose too much quality. Also, is there a post processing thing I can run to remove the commercials, or does it just mark commercial breaks and skip over them? Thanks. -- -=/>Thom
