It is just a desk lamp. Meaning it has a post that goes into a hole in your desk. It's all black, has a large square rectangle head on the front side is a switch that is off, high, low. It does not Look like any thing special. Looks more Office type. My kid has my camera so if you want to send my your phone number off the list I can send a picture to your phone. It does get hotter than hell on high! I have one on my desk I use to "Cook" the top coat on Mani's. Everyone Loves it because it get's them out the door with no smudges. If you need more heat you could get a Halogen with Hi/Lo setting like mine. I think my Hubby got mine at Office Depot. It's not pretty but it does a great job. If you get too close it gets too hot!
