Renee,
That is called pitting.
If you have it on your base first, do not apply anything else until you buff
it. Just buff the pits out.
It could also be the product is on too thick.
I have it happen with the shiny tops, too, Becky, on the pink and whites.

Buenos dias!

Renee, the dimpled look that you're referring to sounds like there might
have been oil on the nail plate, or just some small bit of contamination. My
clients aren't allowed to have their hands once I begin the application
process because they seem to mess with their hair, scratch their face, wipe
their hands in their clothing, etc... Any if these things will cause the gel
to skate around on the nail... What you're describing is what happens to me
if a client has gotten something on their nails... I can't describe what I
mean, but think of how oil and water dont mix, they kind of form little
bubbles from each other... That is kind of what's happening with the gel. I
have had it happen when I do a Uv top coat over pink and whites, it is SO
frustrating because nothing fixes it except filing it all off and starting
over.
