She needs to a podiatrist.  She may not be able to take oral medication but
there are other options. I teach my students to refer clients with toe
issues to a Dr. If you or the client aren't sure of what the problem is,
even though its most likely fungal or bacterial,  you still have to be
safe.  Referrals to a podiatrist are always the safest way to go.

I have a long time regular pedi client who has a bad big toenail.  It's Bren
that way for a long time (that way when she came to me and she told me it
had been bad a long time).  She can't take oral meds to try and clear it up,
etc.
I service her and clean really well, throw away all disposables, etc.

This week I found out that while I was out on maternity leave she went to a
corner nail place to get a pedi and they refused to do her service and
embarrassed her.

What would you do in this situation??
