Diana, if you wipe as Sheryl suggested, you are placing the side you wiped against the nail. Hope that makes sense. As for Shellac and not using adhesive, Shellac cures a little drier, so it grabs the foil really really well. You don't need the adhesive with Shellac at all. With other SOGP's you do. And like Becky said, be quick!! It works :)
