All the changes you named are all deal breakers, IMO. Be prepared to leave the same day you put in your notice. If your new space will not be ready for a week or 2, wait until it is ready, then just quit that day with no notice. I know, some people will say that is unprofessional, here is my reason for saying it. Someone who has demonstrated the lack of professionalism that your salon owner has demonstrated should not be trusted to suddenly behave professionally and accept your 2 week notice. She is going to throw you out on the spot, not let you look at the appointment book to check your appointments for the week, she may even take your license off the wall and hide it from you, anything to stop your move from being a smooth transition. You must protect yourself. Copy all your appointments and client information before you give notice if you do not keep your own book and client information. I had an owner do all this to me once. I was surprised because it never crossed my mind that a business woman would behave so unprofessionally. I should not have been surprised, she had demonstrated repeatedly over the year that I worked there how unprofessional she was, I was just too naive to expect it. Do not trust this woman to do the right thing. Cover your but!
