Agreed, sounds like a fraudulent listing. Report it to ebay's fraud
department.

This happens all the time. I belong to groups that mess with pinball
machines and jukeboxes, both single large value items. There are scam
auctions on the go regularly. Usually we can cut and paste the text
and find the original source, but in other cases we always ask the
seller a question that we know cannot be true, such as 'Is it the
version with the XYZ feature because that is the one I am especially
after.' Invariably a scammer, eager to secure a deal, will respond
with: 'Yes that is the one I have for sale'. As if...
The usual story if you offer to collect and pay cash is that the
machine is not where they originally said it was anymore, it's all
crated up and somewhere else.
