If you can take optimal advantage of the 5x5cm 10pc deal, the price is under .40 per sq inch. But that's the best case scenario. Dorkbot is closer to 1.66 square in. Which is still pretty good in my book for the quality and speed you receive. Shipping is included in the above. All have certain restrictions, but nothing too limiting. These services are all fairly recent, and have really made be rethink some of my in-house pcb prototyping, especially when i can afford the time. For small boards it's a really great deal. For larger boards (which most of my clock designs need), I don't think it's quite the same bargain. (that's a somewhat subjective opinion on my part). But a really nice thing about these services is they allow ANYBODY who wants to design their own pcbs, to do so and get them cheaply made without having to resort to the chemicals and complexity of doing it themselves in house. I make a lot of prototype pcbs myself, and it does get tiresome after a while (but you can't beat the speed). BTW, I think most of these places will take EAGLE files directly. Makes it even easier for some hobbyists. -carl -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "neonixie-l" group.
