Here's my old fogey advice to young whippersnappers:

#1: There is no substitute for good tools;

#2: Always use the right tool for the job.

For example, you should never use needle-nose pliers to turn anything radially 
unless you don't mind twisting them all to hell. Get a decent set of HOLLOW 
SHAFT nutdreivers instead.


Computers are a tool as well. Save frequently and be sure to back everything 
up. I keep timed backups and bootable clones of multiple system installs here. 
I haven't lost anything for years.

And don't even think of using those pliers the wrong way.  8D
