hi all,
GOOOOD NEWS>>>
so as expected by all of you we have an induction problem in the ps.
the transformers magnetic field is creating hum on the audio power. (too close to print, old transformers, 50HZ ...) i moved and played with these wires and could feel the hum increasing and decreasing with relation to its distance and position from the transformer.i finally could find a sweet spot witch reduces hum to almost nothing- (could not measure noise floor level nor my noise reduction).
this happens on both ps i have.
my idea is to mount the two transformers (on a board)out of the original ps. housing. Then place them in the rack about 1m away from the two ps. i will use the original cable in order to connect between ps and external transformer board and will use an thicker cable (2.5) for connection between console and ps print.
what do you think?
thanx a lot everybody for joining my painful but educating experience.

Hi Barak,

Could you possibly post some photos of the power supplies to the list? Inside and out if you can.

Thanks!
