I think Wes and I agree that we should push your code, and even do so
silently. We have complete confidence in your code.

I don't particularly like this option, but will bend to the will of the
people. I would argue that the header name for the old code should indicated
it is the old code. Otherwise how are the clueless going to know which is
better, event or event-mib?
