Yes - that's a problem that I need to look at.

No - if you don't specify an event explicitly, it will default to
sending a notification.
But you *do* need a "trapsink" (or similar) entry, so that the agent
knows where to send it.

No - that's the (old) flag to indicate an "exact instance" entry.
Hence specifying  extXxxx.1, extXxxx.2, etc

Without this flag, the one monitor entry will be applied to all
matching extResult instances
(with corresponding extName and extOutput indexes).
