Second life, as much as i have issues with it has many productive affordances. It's a bit like doing a project on north london, but suggesting one does it in swansea. I think alan's issues are not with sl as such, as he has established a practice based around its unique qualities. Moving the activity elsewhere would be a different project. Premiere cs4 will natively edit any hd file, if your 'puter is up to it and blows over fcp for me.
