Hello All,

I just emailed "Folly" in Lancaster to find out how they're getting on,
and I got this response (below).

Folly has been a key beacon of challenging, high quality, participatory,
digital arts in the North West and it's a tragedy that it has had to
close. In a way, though, the thing that disturbs me most about this
closure is the quietness of Folly's disintegration. Take a look at their
web page.

Watch out (fellow digital arts activists) for the way that pillars of
participatory digital arts culture like "Folly" collapse quietly, while
new, often paper-thin initiatives are shouted from the rooftops.

Best Regards,

James
