If you are worried then list your hardware.  What he means is if you
have any haradware that is cpu intnsive when used.  TheA1200 onboard
IDE can be one example especially if you are still using say the
standard 14Mhz EC020.

Genesis Prefs, Options, Advanced.  You should see a setting 
"Max memory:".  I think the default for this is 256, I use 512 without
problems here.  If ti should be 1024+ then that should be a default or
minimum setting.
