Hmmm I'm not Chris but I can answer that one I think. Yes the docs can be a
bit sketchy, but in this case its because to be able to use the database for
example, you really need to be an advanced user. for anyone who doesn't
understand what the different database objects are or do, you just leave it
alone because the defaults should be okay, and trying to explain would take
hours, and reams of paper ( or mega length docs files). As for the netinfo,
well if you aren't an advanced user you don't really need it. But for your
info Lookup does ust that, you type in your url, say www.demon.net and it
returns the Ip address, and who they are plus details about who they are
registered as etc (I can't remember the exact details at the mo but you get
the idea).

As for the finger command it returns the contents of the specified users .plan
file. so eg you finger [EMAIL PROTECTED] and it returns their current
network status and any probs etc. (assuming they have updated it of course.
