You could always volunteer to do a Database FAQ, especially covering
mainstream security issues.

I wasn't aware of any published docs for database functions :-/
Perhaps the Unix/Linux community is a better place to look for
specifics. They're much more into desktop security than Win9x users,
IME.

I can sympathise completely with you wanting the documentation, but
I get rattled by the way that people tend to "shout" at one another on
m/ls when something goes wrong. If someone said "You don't need
that" face-to-face, you'd be unlikely to shout abuse at them... A
gentler "Well, I'm really interested in finding out everything I can
about it" response might have actually got you some further
information.
